Netflix Is Currently Down...

and people are threatening to end their service. Come on, people! Websites/services are not perfect, and sometimes can crash/not work. I understand being annoyed, but threatening to end a service because of that seems extreme.

I do understand people's frustrations in that there is no explanation as to what is wrong - the website looks to be working in that you can access the login page (but an error shows when you try to type in your password).

What Netflix should do is put an error message on their website (i.e. "Sorry! The site is currently down, but we are working very hard to fix this!") so people understand that the site is actually down instead of trying to repeatedly reset (yes, that was me).

I honestly thought someone hacked into my account and had changed info around; it only wasnt' until I did a Google search that I found out it was system-wide, Like Anonymous, I was relieved that it wasn't just me!

Back to Basics

I removed the patterned border, mainly just because.

I'm taking a break from doing work...and I'm totally craving green bean casserole.

Happy Thanksgiving

I realized I've written a Thanksgiving post every year that this blog has been in celebrated existence, so why not continue the trend?

As with every holiday, I really forget the "true" meaning and think of it only as a time to be with family, be off from work (technically) and eat. And depending on the holiday, exchange presents of some sort. But to be honest, that doesn't sound all that bad.

So here is what I am thankful for:
- my family: I've said it before, but I love my family. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today. We didn't have a lot growing up, but I still had food to eat, a roof over my head, AND a college education (ok, usually those three things don't go together, but those are things that my family provided for me, and I am eternally grateful for that).

- my friends: Ok, I don't have that many friends left, but the ones that I have I value - true friends ARE hard to find, so you should hold on to the ones that are

- my job: It gives me a paycheck that allows me to pay my bills, eat korean bbq and ramen, and buy frivolous items. I work with cool people AND I don't have to wear a suit. I will not comment on the number of hours I have to work though.

- my health: This is seriously not a joke, haha (I get sick A LOT). I mean this more in the general sense: I have working legs and arms, my senses are all fine (ok my sight might be horrible, but it's currently corrected), and a working brain that can think and make conscious decisions (and really funny jokes)

- my youthful looks: Student discounts, anyone???

Happy Thanksgiving everyone (I'll be feasting on Friday).

...nothing new to write, except work has been KICKING MY ARSE.

Long days and even longer nights.
